Health Coaching

Health & Wellbeing Coaching focuses on advice and support on your healing journey which is based wholefood diet and nutrition, personal, emotional and spiritual development, which is underpinned by traditional Oriental medicine and philosophical principles.

In a Health & Wellbeing Coaching session, a comprehensive consultation taken looking at the client’s constitution and health condition, diet, exercise, emotional and life history. Using assessment process based on Oriental face (click here), tongue, abdominal diagnosis, a Health & Wellbeing Coach provides a detailed health & lifestyle plan, which may include:

  • Dietary and nutritional advice
  • Meal planning
  • Wholefood cooking tuition
  • Meditation & relaxation techniques
  • Qi Gong & Do-In therapeutic exercises
  • Shiatsu, Massage & Reflexology treatments
  • Emotional work and support

Health & Wellbeing Coaching is not a substitute for medical care but is a form of guidance and education to help enable the client to fine tune and optimize their health and wellbeing. Dave works with many different health conditions and specialises in abdominal/gut/bowel health.

Health Coaching can be held at the Blue Lotus Therapy Centre or online on Zoom.

Consultation: £60 for 1.25 hours including a personalised plan and recipes

Follow up sessions are important to check on your progress, give support and additional advice, help with emotional connections with food, or to provide Oriental Bodywork sessions to help to stimulate your healing process: £25 for 30 mins or £50 for 1 hour.

 

Qualifications & Training

Dave studied the 3.5 year professional training programme at the world renowned International Macrobiotic School in Totnes, qualifying as a Health Coach & Consultant, Wholefood Cook and Shiatsu Practitioner. For more information about their training courses: www.macroschool.co.uk

 

Private Classes & Group Work
