Thai Table Massage

Advanced Training Course for Therapists

This 2-day workshop will introduce you to the art of Thai Table Massage, which is based on Thai Yoga Massage, but adapted for the massage couch. Traditionally in Thailand, massage is practised on a futon mat. The benefits of couch work over mat work, are less strain on the knees and lower back, and that therapists don’t have to be so flexible. TTM consists of deep massage, energy line work and applied yoga stretches. TTM helps to reduce pain and discomfort held throughout the whole body. It is effective for stimulating the circulation and harmonising energy flow. It helps with sports injuries, remedial, musculo-skeletal problems, and is highly relaxing and invigorating at the same time. There is also a deeply spiritual side to Thai massage as it is an important part of Thai culture.

This course is suitable for qualified reflexologists, massage therapists & bodyworkers.
